One-time passcodes are used as verification for many banks and other accounts. Your bank will never call to ask what that code was. Be aware this time of year, when we are all a little extra frazzled and may be caught off guard. We hastily sign in, wait for the code and then get a call. The incoming numbers could even look like it is coming from your bank. Please do not give them the one-time passcode. They can access your account from there. And no one wants to deal with that during this season (or anytime). Just a little helpful reminder from your local mobile computer repair shop!
